About the Role Manager – Senior Manager of Corporate Development The role will consists of two responsibilities, business development and alliance management. Responsibilities Business Development • Identify leads / new opportunities by working closely with Chief Business Officer and internal team to understand requirement and growth opportunity for Hepalink and its US subsidiaries (SPL, TechDow and Cytovance) • Screen potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials • Coordinate internal and external resources to develop market analysis, and validate assumptions critical to the underlying business strategy • Assess and recommend in-line products and clinical compounds and their potential in Hepalink strategic therapeutic areas • Lead due diligence process with strong collaboration effort with internal cross functional teams • Prepare business case for internal discussion and approval • Execute agreement and oversee implementation towards launch / integration • Regular and clear communication to cross functional internal stakeholders in regard to project status and progress • Develop and grow a productive network of external contacts and maintain excellent working relationships with industry counterparts Alliance Management • Digest and summarize contractual obligations of Hepalink and its subsidiaries and our partners to be able to provide functional colleagues with direction On their specific responsibilities under the agreements • Ensure proactive communication with partners and internal stakeholders and stay in front of potential issues. Be the primary point of contact for our partners to allow for the most efficient distribution of information and task delegation • Facilitate all joint steering committee meetings and other functional meetings, as required • Consolidate and contribute to meeting materials and track issues and decisions that arise from partnership discussions Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree, scientific master’s or MBA preferred • 5-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 3 years of experience in business development or alliance management role highly preferred • Strong business leadership skills, superior intellectual horsepower, a results orientation and demonstrated values driven leadership style • Sound understanding of pharmaceutical markets, product development cycles and underlying value creation strategies • Demonstrated capabilities for writing commercial assessments and deal summaries, including developing/assessing business strategies, validating commercial assumptions, developing quantitative and qualitative support documentation and analysis, summarizing information in a concise and efficient manner and preparing effective presentations and summaries • Demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines • Excellent presentation and analytical skills; above average mastery of MS PowerPoint and Excel • Proficient in English and Chinese required. homebase in US
